Jessica doesn’t have many friends and isn’t very popular, until the day she met Jordan Hunter. Jessica was working at Wal-Mart in Three Forks when she came upon a boy by getting in his car on accident because it was the same exact car she had. Jessica thought he was kidnapping her, or the boy was trying to take her car until she realized that she wasn’t in her car. The boy knew it was an accident so he forgave her. He told her his name was Jordan Hunter, and that he was new in town. They started to hang out together when she began to like him. Later on when they were hanging out a lot, he trusted her enough to tell her that his dad was famous. For her whole life Jessica wanted to be an actress and she didn’t know where to begin. She thought that if she met Jordan’s dad and showed him her acting skills then she could get a job as an actress, but she had to first figure out how to meet him. If you enjoy Jerry Spinelli’s books, Stargirl, or just want an extremely awesome read that has events that will make you laugh and cry, this is the book for you.
