Wilbur as a runt pig has to learn some things about staying alive with the help of a few friends. Fern, a young girl, saves him by stopping her father, Mr. Arable. Mr. Arable was going out to the hog house to kill Wilbur, but Fern catches up to him and tells him she will take care of Wilbur herself. So after 5 weeks old he was big enough to sell and they could not keep him any longer. So they decide Wilbur will be taken to Mr. Zuckerman’s barn. In that barn he meets Charlotte, a spider, and many other friends. Everyone in the barn tries to come up with ways to keep Wilbur alive from getting slaughtered in the spring. So what they do is every night Charlotte makes a web saying words like ”terrific”  and Wilbur would be under it. Along the way every morning there would be a different word. So as it went on the news spread. So they decided to put him in the fair. Charlotte keeps spinning the webs and she lays her eggs, grows old, and dies. Will they eggs make it? What will happen to Wilbur? Will he forget her? Keyarian 4^th period

Eragon, a fifteen year old, extremely curious boy living in Alagaesia, finds himself in a lot more trouble than he expected in a simple hunt through the Spine, a scary mountain range where a whole legion of an evil army disappeared. Strangely enough that’s where he finds a dragon egg. Inside the egg is a dragon named Saphira. Saphira and Eragon learn that they can communicate without talking. Saphira and Eragon knew they were meant to be friends.             They go on a journey, but along the way they learn that they are being hunted by Galbatorix, an evil man that controls the empire had killed most of the other dragon riders, people like Eragon and Saphira. He sends two his most powerful minions, known as the Ra’zac, to hunt them down.             Follow Eragon and Saphire through battles with urgals, monster-like creatures, the Ra’zac, a shade, a dragon turned bad, and the rest of the evil empire.
