Marley and Me by John Grogan

John and Jenny, both in their twenties, have just started their lives together at their home in Florida.  They both want to eventually have kids, but Jenny feels that she isn’t ready for the responsibility.  And so Marley the dog comes into the family to give Jenny some practice.  Having Marley is a roller coaster, from bungling through the room and knocking people over, to swallowing Jenny’s jewelry!  Through it all, John tells the story of Marley’s life from his own point of view.  If you like stories about dogs, then you can’t pass this one up!   Meg 6^th period
