Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli 7th period

16- year- old Stargirl has returned in Love, Stargirl to tell the story about her new life in Pennsylvania.  While being home schooled, she is trying to forget about her previous life at Mica High and her miserable experiences.  Although Stargirl brought it on herself by singing, “Happy Birthday” and playing the ukulele in her sunflower bag to people she didn’t even know in the middle of the cafeteria, she did not need the ugly treatment she received.   This book, or as she calls it, “the world’s longest letter”, is a novel about love, life, friends, and just trying to fit in.

If you enjoy Jerry Spinelli’s books, Stargirl, or just want an extremely awesome read that has events that will make you laugh and cry, this is the book for you.
